Plankton, the base of the marine food chain

We study microbial plankton, small organisms that support marine food chains. For that we
combine different approaches including field observations, laboratory experiments, database
analysis and numerical modeling.



TEACHING

We teach bachelor and master degrees at the University of Vigo and supervise bachelor, master and PhD projects.



OUTREACH

We love spreading our work! We participate in diverse outreach activities aimed at audiences of all ages.
